What this site is for

Reference and reference only. The repair steps, volumes and temperature figures are published so you can plan a job. They do not replace the technical data sheet that ships with the product, and where this site and the data sheet differ, the data sheet wins.

Limits on the advice

We cannot see your pool. A crack that looks cosmetic in a photograph can be a shell that has moved, and epoxy putty is not intended for structural applications. If the water level drops measurably every day, if the crack runs through the shell rather than the finish, or if a patch you made has opened twice, that is a job for a licensed pool contractor and no amount of putty changes it.

Working with grinders, wire brushes and epoxy resin carries its own risks. Read the safety data sheet, wear gloves, and keep uncured material off your skin.

Affiliate relationship

This is an Amazon Associates site. Buttons and product links carry an affiliate tag, and qualifying purchases earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That relationship does not change what the pages say. The list of repairs the putty will not do is on the front page precisely because the commission is not worth a patch that fails in August.

Prices and availability

Every price shown here was true when it was recorded and is likely to be wrong by the time you read it. Stock status changes hourly. Whatever the listing shows when you arrive is the real figure, and the transaction runs under the retailer terms, not ours.

Trademarks
